OverviewInMotion RS Jet Electric Scooter brings much of the RS platform’s speed and chassis hardware into a smaller package. Its dual 1,200W motors can reach 4,600W of combined peak output, powered by a 72V 25Ah battery. The rated top speed is 50 mph and the published maximum range is up to 56 miles. In independent Rider Guide testing, the Jet reached about 48.5 mph, while another road test recorded runs above 50 mph under favorable conditions. Those results put it firmly in high-performance territory without the size and 120-plus-pound mass of the full RS.
The Jet still weighs around 90 lb, so “lighter” is relative, but the reduced mass makes it easier to maneuver than many 72V rivals. Adjustable ride height and hydraulic suspension allow the chassis to be tuned for lower road use or extra clearance, while 11-inch tubeless tires and full hydraulic brakes with 160 mm rotors provide the tire and stopping hardware expected at this speed. A 4.3-inch color touchscreen replaces a basic dashboard, and the sine-wave controllers help keep throttle response progressive rather than abrupt. The 72V electrical system carries UL2849 certification, and the body is rated IPX6 for water resistance.
There are still compromises. Charging the 1,800Wh battery with the supplied charger can take roughly nine to ten hours, and 90 lb remains too heavy for regular stair carrying or mixed train-and-scooter commuting. Independent testers have also called out a somewhat finicky folding mechanism, an awkward suspension-adjustment process, and a stem height that may feel low to taller riders. For someone who wants near-50-mph capability, strong braking and premium controls without stepping up to the full-size RS, the Jet offers a convincing balance; for ordinary city trips, its performance and weight are unnecessary.
